USEDOM

Traditional seaside resorts, hilly landscape and nature of Germany's second largest island. Bustle on the beach, swimming in the Baltic Sea or hiking around a lake - Usedom is full of natural beauty and rich in contrast, that boredom will stay at home. Close together at the coast of the Baltic seaside there are resorts, including those rich in tradition as Ahlbeck Bansin, Heringsdorf and Zinnowitz. Only a few hundred meters away from the bustle baths doze small villages - with sandy paths, flowering gardens and whitewashed cottages. Usedom brings to 445 sq. km scenic all the peculiarities of the Baltic Sea coast: flat dunes, and a steep bank, about 40 km long white sandy beach, this slightly curled landscape with forests, meadows, fields and more than a dozen lakes. And do not forget: The meteorologists have found out based on their statistics that in the last 30 years the sunniest region of Germany is Usedom with 1906 hours sun.
