The lagoon city shows its past wealth and beauty, mixed with the friendly sense of their residents to every guest. The watersurrounded palaces along the major channels look really shiny and so unreal at the same time, so rotten, as in the picture books and travel catalogs. The Piazza San Marco and in front of the cathedral also appear in nature really so worldly and spotless as if it was in a glamorous movie. The 7.5 km ² large urban area with its all in all around 3000 streets and 100 piazzas, the approximately 150 channels and over 400 bridges is a wonderful place for honeymooners...
